Regine Traulsen and Bill Diamond Morrocan Extravaganza

Regine Traulsen and Bill Diamond hosted a Moroccan extravaganza at their Palm Beach home, transporting their delighted guests to a magical evening in Marrakesh.  Over 130 guests dressed in traditional attire, or white-tie Casablanca-style,  were greeted with champagne while posing with camels and belly dancers before making their way through the tented hallway to the main house and terrace.  Riad-like nooks set the stage for the cocktail hour, where guests enjoyed delicious Moroccan amuse-bouches, catered by Thierry Isambert,  before they were invited to experience the piece de resistance:  A magnificent Bedouin tent provided by Ali Baba, exquisitely decorated in true Moroccan style, and adorned with copious flowers by Richard Grille Events.  The lavish buffet featuring authentic Moroccan dishes offered an array of appetizers and eight main courses to choose from including Chicken with Olives and lemon Confit, Vegetable Couscous, Chicken Pastilla, Lamb Tagine with Prunes and Peaches and traditional Meat Balls with Tomato Sauce.

An upcoming Moroccan musical star, Othmane Bouchar led the Moroccan band which kept festivities and guests keeping up with lovely belly-dancers throughout dinner. It was a memorable night. The hosts literally rocked the casbash!
