An Intimate Dinner at Christie’s Palm Beach catered by Le Bilboquet

Scott Snyder honored Audrey Gruss on the 15th anniversary of Hope for Depression Research Foundation, which she founded in memory of her mother, Hope, who suffered from clinical depression.

As an Advisory Board member and co-chair for the Palm Beach Race of Hope, Snyder engaged Brett Sherlock of Christie’s, Worth Avenue, to host the 30 plus major donors.

After being welcomed with champagne and cocktails, guests were invited to take their place at a beautifully spring flower landscaped table surrounded by Christie’s collection of important Pop Art, including 5 Keith Haring’s signs.   The four-course menu was catered by Palm Beach’s most revered restaurant, Le Bilboquet, and featured wild mushroom risotto as appetizer, followed by a tomato and mesclun salad.  The entrée, veal citron with pomme pureée, was followed by a perfectly sweet ending,  Bilbo’s mousse au chocolat.

In addition to Audrey & Martin Gruss, attending the event were: Louisa Benton, Shannon Donnelly, Missy &Eduard de Guardiola, Kaaren & Charles Hale, John Hendrickson , Nicola & Jeffrey Marcus, John Paulson & Alina de Almeida, Tom Quick &Michael Donnell, Tricia Quick, Hilary & Wilbur Ross, Felicia Taylor & Peter Gottsegen and Susan Taylor
