Le Bilboquet Hosts Dinner to Honor Chairs of

Party Animal Theme Transforms Bilbo’s Private Dining Room
Le Bilboquet Palm Beach hosted an intimate dinner in honor of Nick Mele and Stacey Leuliette, co-chairs of Young Friends of Peggy Adams. The event took place January 24th in Bilboquet’s private, Provence-styled dining room, located above the restaurant. Charlotte Munder of Charlotte Munder Design decorated the room to complement this year’s gala theme – Party Animal – which will take place November 19 at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum.
Upon entering the room, guests were greeted with Bilboquet’s Libation 21, created by mixologist Ben Wood to commemorate Bilboquet Palm Beach’s first anniversary. The light and colorful cocktail based on Italicus (a bergamot liquor), lemon oil, sparkling wine and Peychaud’s bitters is garnished with an edible orchid and upcycled, pineapple fronds. It fits in with the patio’s décor of climbing wall jasmine and exotic, potted palms.
“The design intent for the evening was to honor the whimsical French elegance of the restaurant while adding layers of color and texture. To bring the space to life, I incorporated a mix of natural materials, including raffia and burlap. Fresh fruits and florals added a pop of color to accompany the curated vintage china and glassware. The juxtaposition of contemporary and vintage elements added depth and richness to the space,” said Munder.
Following cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a three-course dinner which began with Le Bilbo Royal, a beautiful tower display of Oysters, Lobster, Ceviche du Jour, Shrimp & accoutrements. For the entrée, guests had a choice of Bilboquet’s signature Cajun Chicken or Le Saumon à la Plancha. A variety of Bilboquet signature desserts: Le Vacherin, La Mousse au Chocolat, and the Sorbets & Ice Creams topped the evening off sweetly.
In addition to the co-chairs, Nick Mele and Stacey Leuliette, guests and committee members included Molly Mele, Hollis Bradley Pica, Devon McCready, Michael Gregson Reinert, Austin Bryan, Samantha Cerny, Tristan Dryer, Charlotte Munder, and Kent Anderson.
