The American Cancer Society’s inaugural Let’s Rock Palm Beach Gala The 2015 event was promoted as a musical tribute to the late Palm Beach resident and concert promoter Jon Stoll, who died from brain cancer in 2008. The band included an all-star lineup of rock ‘n rollers Jeffrey “Skunk” Baxter of the Doobie Brothers, Barry Goudreau and Fran Sheehan of the group Boston, Robert “Mousey” Thompson from the James Brown Band, and special guest appearances by Grammy-winning guitarist Jonny Lang, Beverly McClelan of “The Voice,” and Butch Trucks of the Allman Brothers.
