PAUL HOBBS- the Steve Jobs of Wine

Meat Market hosts exclusive wine pairing dinner with Paul Hobbs Winery

Those of you who share the passion for ‘making every bite count‘– like I do,  MUST come to the  PAUL HOBBS wine dinner.  Chef Sean Brasel has created an exquisite menu to complement the carefully selected wines by Paul Hobbs.   Jonathan Negrin, Meat Market’s wine sommelier  will be on hand to personally tend to the guests questions and needs.  Before embarking on a four-course sensual journey, guests will be welcomed with a Pulenta Estate Sauvignon paired with wood-grilled Tuna Tataki, roasted shrimp empanadas and watermelon gazpacho shots. The ‘gastronome‘ experience will include delicacies such as Duck Terrine and Braised Lamb Osso Bucco.  You have to click on the menu to find out what other surprises Chef Sean is cooking up!  I find the dessert particularly intriguing!

Paul Hobbs is known for its meticulous vineyard management and minimally-invasive wine-making techniques, producing wines which express their vineyard origins with finesse, complexity and authenticity.

“We limit attendance to these special wine tastings as it’s important to ensure every guest has the opportunity to savor each wine with Chef Sean Brasel’s carefully planned accompaniment. It’s all about the experience,” says Andy Dugard, General Manager of Meat Market Palm Beach.

Shoe Lovers will appreciate this…

I buy the shoe because I love the way it looks… and then, I suffer...  Who says shoe lovers are practical? We may not be able to wear these particular shoes, but we do get to fantasize. Who better than the wife of one of our favorite designers to come up with these whimsical designs are masterpieces to inspire our fantasies?

Jane Weitzman, noted philanthropist, will be one of the highlights of the 13th Annual Palm Beach Fine Craft Show February 26th  through February 28th, 2016. Jane, wife of famed shoe designer, Stuart Weitzman, will be a special guest at what is considered to be the #1 Fine Craft Show in the country, according to Art Fair Source book, a leading resource in the industry.

Author of Art and Sole, a visual representation of the many renowned artisans commissioned to realize her whimsical inspirations, Jane will be one of several highlights at the upcoming 2013 Palm Beach Fine Craft Show. 

So we can’t wear them, but how fun is it to fantasize!

Jane will be supporting three local Palm Beach charities during her presence in Palm Beach.  Glades Academy Foundation, Center for Creative Education, and talk about the perfect tie in Shuzz Foundation!  We’ll keep you posted!
