Paddlers and Sponsors including Hamilton Jewelers Raised over $130,000 for local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

A documentary video produced by ———was unveiled during Crossing for A Cure’s Victory party on Saturday July 15th. at E.R. Bradley’s Saloon.  The short film showcases  the incredible story of 30 men and women participating in the 90 mile paddle crossing, from Bimini to the Florida mainland.   With the help of sponsors, this year’s crossing raised over $130,000 for Pipers Angels Foundation.

The Victory Party

The West Palm Beach waterfront hummed with live Reggae music and a Tito’s Vodka luge as part of the appreciation shown to Crossing Crusaders & Piper’s Angels.  Always working the microphone to call out supporters and paddlers, Travis Suit said the evening was a sweet reward and an opportunity to share the wonderful good wishes shown to his daughter Piper.  For those who don’t already know, Travis’s daughter Piper was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was four years old. Travis created The Crossing for a Cure in order to raise awareness of the healing benefits of salt air for CF patients and to raise funds for the Piper’s Angels Foundation.

Support Pipers Angels

Recognizing that not everyone is prepared to endure the rigors of the Crossing, Hamilton Jewelers launched a new, lasting way to support the Piper’s Angels Foundation by creating a hand engraved charm which can be worn as a bracelet or a necklace.  They presented the first charm bracelet to Piper who was proud to show off the very wearable design, while her Dad, Travis wear’s it on a rubber cord around his neck.  The stunning pieces have become quite the collectible for supporters of the Piper’s Angels Foundation.

CHATEAU ALGARVE

Just got word a friend of mine will be vacating her château in the South of France this summer, making it available for a family or individuals looking for a truly unforgettable experience. Built in 1865, Chateau Algarve, the 19th Century Italianate villa was once home to  His Imperial Highness Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaievich, the first cousin of the Russian Tsar and Commander of the Russian Army.  Situated on the west side of the Cap, only minutes away from Juan-les-Pins and the famed Hotel du Cap & Eden Roc, the château commands the best sea view of the Iles de Lerins and Cannes.

Palatial, majestic, romantic, serene, comfortable are just a few of the words used to describe this magnificent dream of a place. Elegantly appointed with rich fabrics, gorgeous boiserie, splendid reception rooms, lush gardens and a pergola render Algarve the perfect setting for entertaining large or small, indoors or out, corporate or private or as an intimate escape for family and friends.  Either way, the experience will be a memorable one….

The Chateau is available for rent for minimum of one week during July and August at 15,000 Euros per week; September at Euros 11,250.  To view more pictures visit www.chateaualgarve.com
