A recent visit to Meat Market on what was expected to be a quiet Tuesday evening turned out to be a stumble into a well-attended Summer on the Scene event to celebrate the efforts of Palm Beach Island Cats. Several Board Members of the organization including George Palladino, Allen and Zelda Mason and Executive Director Leslie Moss were on hand to answer questions about the humane work conducted 365 days a year by this local organization which receives no government funding.
Bold-faced names from The Palm Beaches sampled Executive Chef Sean Brasel’s culinary creations while learning more about the how Palm Beach Island Cats provides food, sterilization, vaccines and other medical care to the Island’s feral felines.
One of the leading organizations in the country conducting trap, neuter, and release programs for feral cats, Palm Beach Island Cats advocates responsible pet ownership. Their efforts on behalf of the Island’s forgotten felines are not only humane, but also serve public health interests.
Donations to this 501 (c) (3) organization are graciously accepted and tax deductible. For more information or to make a contribution, please visit www.PBIslandCats.org
