Michael James of The Silver Fund hosted supporters of Lighthouse Guild’s Annual POSH Palm Beach Dinner Dance during a private pre-gala reception on January 13, 2016, offering guests a sneak preview of highlights to be introduced when the POSH on-line site is officially launched in June.
For years, POSH Palm Beach has been known for its annual sale featuring major designer fashions and accessories donated by socialites, celebrities, designers and retailers. While the annual event benefiting the Lighthouse Guild successfully attracted the masses in search of a deal on designer and couture pieces such as Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Prada, Escada, Givenchy, Manolo Blahnik, Bottega Veneta, and Christian Louboutin – the digital world opened a whole new opportunity!
Thus, POSH Designer Sale will now offer an online shopping platform, set to debut this summer, featuring the most coveted clothing and accessories at your fingertips! Patrons will soon be able to support for the Lighthouse Guild from home, work or even while running errands.
Mark G. Ackermann, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Lighthouse Guild, was in attendance and recognized this year’s Dinner Dance honorees, Kim Campbell and Lavinia Baker. He also announced Honorary Chair Arlene Dahl, will be presented with Lighthouse Guild’s Vision Award in recognition of her leadership in Palm Beach, and for her longstanding support and advocacy for the vision impaired.
