I’ve been following this internationally acclaimed photographer for years, and feel so privileged our team at Altima is part of this ONE-DAY Palm Beach highlight open to the public!

Steve McCurry has been one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography for more than 30 years. During this time, McCurry has produced over a dozen books, and had numerous exhibitions around the world to his name. Steve will be signing his new, 252-page book, Animals, on Thursday, January 23 at Coe and Co Photography Gallery, 217 Royal Poinciana Way from 5 to 8 p.m. In addition to a selection of works from his Animals series, the iconic Afghan Girl and other classic photos from his remote travels will be on display.

Please RSVP by calling 561.833.8283

McCurry has gone on to create stunning images on all seven continents and countless countries. His work spans conflicts, vanishing cultures, ancient traditions and contemporary culture alike – yet always retains the human element that made his celebrated image of the Afghan Girl such a powerful image. The new book explores, in his words, “a loving tribute to the creatures who share our planet.” He curated his favorite images of animals across the globe throughout his extensive travels. Each explores the story between animal and human, or animal and its environment.

McCurry is winner of the Robert Capa Gold Medal for Best Photographic Reporting from Abroad among other prestigious awards.

Coe and Co Photography Gallery represents the world’s most renowned photographers, from Steve McCurry and Helmut Newton, to David Burdeny and Nathan Coe.
