Ron Cavalier, founder of Cavalier Galleries, first sparked his lifelong passion for art at his father’s foundry while restoring the great Hirshhorn sculpture collection before it became a Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC. Opening his first gallery in 1986 in Connecticut, Cavalier remained focused on sculpture in the early years, introducing the nationally-acclaimed Stamford Sculpture Walk and Important Sculptors of the Late Twentieth Century exhibitions. Since then Ron Cavalier has expanded his gallery representation to include leading sculptors, painters and photographers, while continuing to develop public sculpture installations throughout the US.
