Chantecler Capri

The first Chantecler boutique opened on the island of Capri in 1947 steps from the Piazzetta.  A favorite of Grace Kelly, Liz Taylor and Maria Callas, Chantecler epitomizes the glamour of La Dolce Vita.  My favorite?  The iconic Campanelle, which comes in a wide range of colors, sizes and shapes.  My mother collected charms from her travels for a bracelet she would one day gift to me; the Campanelle represented her favorite Mediterranean destination.  Select pieces from the Paillettes, Et Voilà, Bon Bon, Cherie, Maiolica, and Enchanté collections will also be on display. “My favorite Chantecler pieces are from the Maiolica collection which was inspired by the vibrant,  colorful tiles made in Southern Italy,” says Cara Ferro, owner of Via Coquina.

Vendorafa:  Hand-Hammered Gold Treasures

Creations by Vendorafa are conceived, created, designed and made with Italian heart and soul.  Known for its hand-made distinctive design, Italian Vendorafa has been creating and producing fine jewelry since 1951 that is known and recognized as a sign of “Made in Italy” style and excellence. Hammering, engraving and embossing have always been Vendorafa’s trademark; fully handmade workmanship enhance the value of gold, its light and its aesthetic warmth.

Gismondi 1754: Seven Generations, One Passion

“Handmade in Italy, designed for the world.” This is the motto and basic foundation that marks all jewels created by Gismondi 1754.  Stones that apparently float in the air, asymmetrical symmetry, unexpected settings and positions of stones are all aspects indicative of Gismondi designs.  From the love for the colors of the countryside and the sea, to the imposing backdrop of the mountains… all of this is a source of inspiration for the products created by Gismondi 1754.
