During these past few months, I have been receiving constant inquiries from friends in the Northeast looking to set up more permanent roots in South Florida.  So when I heard of my friend Michelle Boren’s bespoke relocation company,  I jumped on the opportunity to share this great resource with my friends and subscribers.

As a trusted long standing member of the community I have known Michelle and her family for over a decade. Michelle had a long career in finance, real estate lending and property insurance before she found herself spending a lot of her time helping friends with their logistical needs.  A self-proclaimed problem solver at heart, she founded Luxury Logistics.

Luxury Logistics specializes in New York and South Florida, where Michelle coordinates the physical move and manages overlooked details such as furniture placement and transporting valuable art, wine and gun collections. She’ll even assist in the real estate negotiation while helping her clients get settled in their new communities by finding the best schools, concierge doctors and contractors to assist with any last minute renovations that may come up, ensuring a seamless transition every step of the way.

Was it your own experience of moving “over 20 times” that motivated you to start LL?

Yes! I have learned the hard way why moving is often listed as one of the top 3 most stressful events in your life. I’ve been humbled by each journey and accept there is always something new to learn… a smarter, more efficient way of doing things the next time. Now I channel my cool head in a crisis for my clients. I manage all the moving parts so stress is no longer a factor.  What’s left is the exhilaration of starting a new chapter, and helping my clients write their first page. This is what I do best.

What have been some of your most rewarding experiences since you started LL?

There is a lot of psychology involved in matching a client with the most effective and appropriate real estate agent, general contractor, interior designer etc… We take pride in really getting to know you so we can anticipate your needs. This allows us to provide more customized services that cater to our clients’ unique situation.  We do not consider our job done until you are fully immersed in your new community.

When you are not working, where would we find you?

In addition to acting as Guardian Ad Litem for at risk youth for the Palm Beach County foster care system, I serve on the executive board of the Global Empowerment Mission, where I travel globally to aid those affected by disaster. Global Empowerment Mission is an incredible organization run by Michael Capponi that has grown exponentially in the last decade and  is now able to help disaster victims worldwide.
