Armory Art Center Sponsors Shopping Opportunity in Advance of Purple Reign Event
In anticipation of The Armory Art Center’s upcoming Winter Fundraiser planned for January 26– PURPLE REIGN–a Tribute to Prince, two neighboring Worth Avenue boutiques have gotten into the Purple spirit. Mary Mahoney and The Silver Fund are offering a donation to the Armory Art Center for any purple merchandise purchased in the month of December. A special piece sure to appeal to collectors is a beautiful Dorothy Draper inspired chrome X-form bench upholstered in a brilliant purple velvet fabric, USA circa 1970 exclusively designed by The Silver Fund and offered at $8,500 (featured above).
